The McNeill Park recently received much needed upgrades through collaboration with Keep Pearl River County Beautiful, Keep Mississippi Beautiful, PRC School District, and other affiliates. The beautification of the park was part of the 2023 Great American Clean Up Day which is the largest volunteer-based cleanup program that KMB offers. KMB selects one affiliate a year for the Great American Cleanup and awards a nearly $5,000 grant to assist in beautification projects. This grant along with donations from many other affiliates, local community organizations and businesses, plus over 100 volunteers from the community, made the day an amazing success. Among the projects at the park were new flower beds with retaining walls, pavilion repair, new bridges on walkways, new picnic tables, planting a wide variety of trees and plants, and much more. The McNeill community now has a park that can be enjoyed for many years to come.
