Sheriff David Allison Serving Since 2008
The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer of the county and is elected to a four-year term. He may run for re-election. The Sheriff is the chief officer of the Chancery and Circuit Courts and maintains the county law library. The Sheriff is in charge of the county courthouse, jail, and protection of prisoners.
Mission Statement
Our Mission for the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office exists within the office itself. We will provide fair, honest, impartial and professional public services to all citizens of Pearl River County, Mississippi. We will accomplish this by striving to do our best to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and the laws of the State of Mississippi. We believe that our primary obligation is to the citizens who, by their will, allow us to serve and protect. We are committed to enhance the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime throughout Pearl River County.
